Do's and Do Not's
Criterion D : Critical Reflection
DO’s
Consider what’s next: Think about the next steps in your work. What questions remain unanswered? What would you like to explore further?
Discuss pros & cons of approaches: Evaluate the strengths and weaknesses of the methods or approaches you used.
Consider different perspectives: Try to look at your work from different angles. How might others interpret your results?
'Why' Questions: Use opportunity to ask “Why?” questions to reflect critically. For example, why are some functions continuous everywhere but not differentiable at certain points?
DO NOT’s
Don’t be afraid to critique your own work: Critical reflection involves being honest about the shortcomings of your work.
Don’t shy away from this – it’s an important part of learning and improving.
Don’t stop at description: While it’s important to describe the results, don’t stop there. Try to delve deeper into what these results mean and how they contribute to your overall understanding of the topic.
